Brown Feet, Brown Feet, What Do You See?
THIS IS NOT A PETER STORY. THIS IS ONE OF THOSE STORIES THAT I FONDLY REMEMBER FROM CAMPUS LIFE.
We were playing a relay game with the students of McKinley/Roosevelt club called “Ice in a Bucket.” The object of the game was to be the first team that finished picking out marbles with their toes from a bucket filled with ice cubes and water. The students were split into three teams and Kimo Ribuca was the first student for one of the teams. Kimo, God bless him, was a faithful student to Campus Life. He grew up in a rough background, but came to know Jesus and was faithfully following Him. Kimo would always come to club with t-shirt, shorts and slippers. So when the game started and Kimo put his feet into the bucket to search for a marble, the water immediately turned brown. And from that point, no one else from Kimo’s team wanted to put their feet in the bucket.
