Peter's Lemons

I come as a humble teller of tales. An eyewitness to the wondrous and extremely amazing life of Ray Sanchez dba Peter. This story I must admit was passed on to me by Mr. Sanchez himself, so I make no claims to being the eyewitness.
The event took place sometime in the 1980's while Mr. Sanchez was a student at Leeward Community College. His instructor began the lecture on the days topic "The Power of Advertising". He began by explaining that there are times when advertisers will use something that will bring about a powerful and moving emotional response to sell a product or service. Often times the image used has nothing to do with the product being sold. The instructor then began to describe a TV commercial where a lemon is being sliced open in slow motion. You can see all the juices squirting out and falling to the table. As the instructor looks about the class he notes the many faces that are fixed upon him. He sees that the class has been caught up just by the verbal description of this commercial.
It is then that he notices one student in particular sitting near the front of the class who has been moved very powerfully. He tells the class, "See how powerful that was! Peter here, has a pool of drool on his desk." It is then that our beloved Peter Salbiejo comes to the realization that there is indeed a pool of drool on his desk and he immediately and frantically attempts to remove it from the desk top. Oh what a moment.
You can just imagine the reaction of his fellow students. That was a powerful and moving experience for all. Are you curious as to what was being sold in that commercial? I don't have a clue. But one thing for sure, Peter defintely is moved by lemons. Just another day in the life of Ray Sanchez! Simply amazing! Thank you Peter, for sharing a special moment with us all. More amazing tales to come! By the way Peter. I wish I was there.
