Do You Know the Way to...Timberline?

This was back when Peter and Shima were staff at Moanalua. There was a camp at Timberline and I guess there were a lot of students because the bus couldn't fit everything. So Peter put everybody's luggage in his car so all the students could fit on the bus.

So Peter and Shima head out. And they keep talking and talking and talking. Finally, Peter asks Shima, "Hey do you know where Timberline is?" Shima's reply, "No, I thought you knew". By this time they were way past the Makakilo area. So they pull over to a service station to ask for directions. I think they must've been in Nanakuli or Waianae. So they finally make their way to Timberline. By this time the students were already at the site waiting for their luggage.

But wait, it gets better.

They get to the Timberline gate. Peter asks, "Do you know the combination?" Shima's reply, "I thought you knew it." Shima figures, "Can't be that far up to the campsite," so he starts walking from the gate to the campsite. If you've never been to Timberline, from the gate to the campsite is a few miles. So Shima is hiking and Peter is waiting at the gate with his car with all the students' luggage. Luckily, someone drives up to the gate who knows the combination and lets Peter in.

So Peter is driving along the road looking for Shima. And he finds him sitting on a rock under a small tree providing a slight amount of shade. By this time the first session had started.
